Where I speak with fervour.

Christmas

This christmas was alright.  I went to Ian’s christmas eve party as usual and met up with my good VS pals.  Fadhil and Ian came out of NS for the first time since their enlistment.  Ian has become as charred as an Indian and Fadhil’s just darker. It seems that Ian and Fadhil’s accounts of their experience in the army are vastly different.  Fadhil’s company seems to be quite slack while Ian’s one is tough.  I just hope that I get a nice sergeant and OC when I enlist.

Ian was having a fever that day.  Poor soul.

After Ian’s party, Fabian didn’t want to go clubbing with me but I still met up with Jerrold and went clubbing in a super sober state of mind.  I chatted with Jerrold until the first buses appeared.  I was being budget that’s why I waited for a bus to take home.  Well, New Year is coming so soon!

To Terence:  I didn’t expose any secret to anybody!

Newfangled Happenings

Several things have occurred in my life so far, but I’m kinda lazy to give a full update. I brought Yishuang out last Ladies’ Night and wished I was born a girl. There were so many freebies lined up for the chicks and I had to pay the cover charge every time I stepped into a different club. We ended up dancing in Attica, but for some obscure reason there were quite a number of Indians that day… I went to see Fadhil off to Pulau Tekong last Friday and I’ve a few insignificant pictures taken on that day. Look below. That’s Fadhil and his parents on the stinky boat to that desolate island.

Last weekend, I got wasted for the first time in my life.  It wasn’t a very pleasant feeling and I reached home when the sky was already filled with light.  Konrad, Eunice and Kon’s new “friend” Jonathan came over for mahjong on Monday. They are really a cheena pok bunch, I wonder how Kon survived judging by the standard of Mandarin he was using in Hong Kong.  My relatives from Penang, Malaysia have arrived and are currently lodging in my home.  Fortunately, my youngest aunt had to work and couldn’t come if not I would not have any peace.  That’s all.

To Terence:  I know you’re lonely and everything in Hong Kong and wanna read about my life.  Well, if you wanna know more, come online earlier before my internet cuts off!

Signs

I just watched this week’s Gossip Girl a while ago (episode 13) and I can’t but blog about it.  It is the best episode this season so far!  I thought Gossip Girl was getting rather boring and lame but this episode was filled with an array of emotions.  It made me happy, touched and sad at the end.  I teared a little when watching the last part for a second time. The song that was used, Signs by Bloc Party, perfectly complemented the mood of the show.  Everyone should really watch this show.  Too bad the next episode which looks super dramatic is only coming out on January 5th. What a long wait!  For now, you can listen to the song Signs by pressing the play button.

Ebullient

It seems wordpress has changed its editing page and it looks cooler now.

Last night was random but so fun.  I went out with two people I barely knew and they’re older than me (already in uni).  Well, Zouk was absolutely crowded.  The queue went all the way down to Copthorne King’s carpark and it was only 9pm.  I was desperate enough to try cutting queue by calling some idiot I dislike to see if he was ahead in the queue.  He was queueing at phuture and said he would call me back.  He didn’t but it didn’t matter because we left and went somewhere else.  I could totally click with these two people and we thoroughly enjoyed ourselves.  I saw a bunch of Taiwanese people sniffing cocaine (or some other drug or stimulant) and I was kinda creeped out.  There was a torrential downpour after we left the club and we got a little wet trying to catch a cab.  Anyway, I’m gonna do this again!

Fabian, I hope the wound from the extraction of your wisdom teeth is now alright.  We can hang out some other time.

Plunging Into Dolour

Last night was one of the worst nights of my life.  Prom was boring, the food sucked, I lost my camera, I lost my camera, I lost my camera (I must be delirious right now), I didn’t sleep, the hotel was crap, lots of unpleasant things happened and ultimately it was a lousy night for this pathetic soul of mine.  At least I’ll now have a reason to get a Lumix and I had a few good friends to chat with through the night.
