Disaster by the Bay @Esplanade

Ok I think I’m exaggerating to say that the Victoria Chorale concert was a disaster, but it wasn’t good.  I hope nobody will bare a grudge against me for saying this.  As part of VJC choir, we sang the first two songs, Ill-married Men and Women, with VC and it was bad (don’t want to use to strong a word here).  I was standing at the back row and I found the volume too low, it was nearly inaudible.  It was, as my friend said, “My most underwhelming performance ever at the Esplanade.”  I heard from a senior who watched the first half of the concert that it was horrible until “Sleep” which is a song written by Eric Whitacre.  Enough about the concert.  A group of us which consisted of mostly the ”power” clique went to Gluttons Bay to fatten ourselves.  Xian Yong seemed a little moody today, I wonder what’s the problem.  He seemed alright after finishing his steamboat with Wayne.

This has been an atypical Sunday for me, I wasn’t aware that we were performing today until last week.  I need to study Biology!  I’m taking the Bio Remedial Test tomorrow and I’m completely unprepared.  Doomed!  I heard that we’ll be getting a full day soon because Keely is the girls champion for Campus Superstar.  I don’t really care about that show though, but it’s brilliant that it has presented us with another full day.

Today is Konrad’s Birthday.  Happy Birthday Konrad Teo Yong Sheng!  Such a wonderful friend of mine from VS.  I’m sorry that I couldn’t celebrate his birthday today because of the concert and even if there was no concert, I would still be grounded.  Nevermind, I’ll be celebrating his birthday during the Sept Holiday, I hope.  Two more birthdays coming up, Wayne and Kelly’s.  A hole is burning in my pockets…
